# Soundiiz Transfer and Sync Guides

> Soundiiz copies supported playlist and music-library metadata between music services. These guides cover transfers and one-way playlist Syncs. They also cover imports and exports, with troubleshooting.

A transfer copies metadata and never deletes or changes the source. A transferable item type must be readable from the source and writable on the destination. Supported item types: playlist, album, artist, track. Sync is separate: it is one-way, covers playlists only, and requires connectable source and destination accounts. Check current capabilities before constructing a guide URL, and use the published `guideSlug` values. A null `guideSlug` means that no platform-pair guide is published.
