In one of our previous articles, we told you that Deezer is an excellent streaming service. In 2023, few platforms can boast such a balanced offering, whether in terms of price – and we know that’s a strong argument – audio quality or user experience. However, you might want to cancel your Deezer subscription and keep your data.
More and more people are choosing Deezer, especially in France, where the platform is one of the market leaders. With a presence in almost 200 countries, Deezer is one of the major players in the market, even if its user numbers still lag behind those of Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Spotify.
Many users praise the quality of Deezer’s algorithm, but above all, the possibility of using the Premium version of the service for two months free of charge. It gives you time to test Deezer over a long period to see if the platform suits your needs, retrieve all the data and playlists you want, and then transfer them to another platform or your Soundiiz account. Once you’ve done that, you can cancel your subscription and use another platform.
Soundiiz makes it easy, and to make the process even easier, we’ve provided a step-by-step guide to cancel your Deezer subscription and keep your data.
You can follow the steps below according to the device you are using:
- Cancel Deezer on iPhone
- Cancel Deezer on Android
- Cancel Deezer on your Desktop

Important note before canceling your Deezer subscription
You’ve made your choice and may want to try out everything YouTube Music, Spotify, or Apple Music has to offer. But if you leave Deezer, all your data will likely disappear.
With Soundiiz, you will only have to spend a little time reconstructing everything you’ve created on your Deezer account, sometimes for years. Thanks to our tool, everything is quickly transferable, and nothing gets lost. And the process is straightforward, as we explain everything here.
But that’s not all. You can transfer your songs, playlists, albums, and favorite artists, store everything in your Soundiiz account, and edit it directly on your dashboard—no need to go through Deezer again. In short, your entire Deezer account can be available on your Soundiiz account.
Once you’ve done that, one of the reasons why Soundiiz has been so popular for so many years is that you can export your Deezer playlists in CSV format, then store them in the location of your choice, modify them if necessary, then share or re-import them.
To summarize, Soundiiz allows you to transfer your data from one platform to another and manage your data without losing information. It works for Deezer but also for almost all other streaming platforms.
Before unsubscribing, we advise you to use Soundiiz to 1) back up your data and 2) Transfer it to the service of your choice.
